We want to make therapy as accessible and stress-free as possible. We accept in-network insurance, assist with out-of-network claims, and offer self-pay options. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we can verify your benefits upfront to help you understand your out-of pocket costs.

  • In-Network

    Storywell Counseling is in-network with the following insurance providers:

    –Oscar Health (some plans)
    –Medical Mutual

    –United Medical Resources (UMR)

    WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?

    Your insurance plan may cover all or part of the session cost. We will check your benefits and provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs before your first appointment.

  • Out-of-Network

    If your insurance provider is not listed, you may still be eligible for out-of-network benefits.

    Note: We do not accept Medicaid insurance plans.

    If your plan offers out-of-network benefits, we can submit claims on your behalf and your insurance plan may cover part of the session cost. We can check your benefits and provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs before your first appointment.

  • Self Pay

    If you prefer to not use insurance and self-pay, Storywell Counseling offers a reduced rate due to lower administrative costs.

    You pay per session without going through insurance.

    We can provide a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs for transparency.

    Some clients choose to self-pay for greater flexibility and privacy, as insurance companies require a diagnosis and sometimes limit session coverage.

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

The No Surprises Act protects clients who self-pay for healthcare services, including therapy. This ensures you won’t receive unexpected bills for services you didn’t agree to upfront.

I provide a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of your therapy sessions, so you can make informed financial decisions. If there are any changes to costs or additional services needed. I’ll communicate those with full transparency.
